A Self-Assessment Instrument
This is a thinking person's tool aimed at giving you a perspective on your capability and on how you plan to shape your Journey so as to actualise your potential. It is not after specifics, but seeks to determine general direction and if you feel the need to achieve, to use your capability fully, then this is a useful tool that does produce results. You can customise it for detailed year on year objectives or to reflect on as and when required..
It is fifteen pages and is divided into two parts. The first has two exercises which build upon one another. The first is The Time Line Exercise which asks you to determine your periods of "flow" and "out of flow" and then offers a view on how your needs for your Working Journey may predictively change. This exercise flows into the next, namely your Capability Cycle and where are you in that cycle and what you have and are still learning...
The second part is about our Future and how our Journey may unfold. It has one major exercise aimed at you identifying the components of your Life Pool, the opportunities and vulnerabilities that make up your current "pool" of existence. This exercise allows one to prepare a visual graphic that serves as a snapshot in time, but also as an annual record.
