This Workshop is based on Andrew Olivier's new book "The Seven Principles of Organisation Design" which is due out in the first half of 2012.
The book provides seven key principles for use by all Managerial Leaders and CEOs on the science behind designing effective, healthy work structures for the benefit of employees, the organisation and society.
Background and Synopsis: Such a book is overdue; it provide readers with a well-researched theoretical model, practical applications and case studies drawn from Australia and around the world. Organisational complexity has mushroomed in response to increased competition, sustainability, technology and changing markets. Executives grapple with effective organisational design to cope with increasingly matrix / cross functional structures, work based activity, increased project management and operations spanning more multiple countries.
It provides examples and case studies from Virgin and Richard Branson, the Grameen Bank adn Prof Muhammad Yunus, the first Private Military Corporation, Ericsson, the Royal Automobile of Association, TESCO and others...
The book is supported by a one day workshop - for more information on the workshp please go to Workshops
